Course Offering
Policy
Individualized program options are available for majors offered by all Divisions at
Beirut University.
Students can select majors from the Divisions of Business Administration and/or Arts & Sciences.
Student's individualized majors programs are selected in consultation with their Academic advisor. The majors
selection form, requires Academic Advisor signature prior to submission to the Office of the Registrar.
Upon graduation, students will specify on their graduation application form the University Division they choose
to graduate from.

- The major course requirement applies independently to each Major selected in the program
- There is a common first semester for full-time students
- Where an overlap in selected Majors results in fewer than required number of courses to satisfy each major
separately, substitute courses must be added, subject to approved by the Academic Advisor.
- Students are required to have completed or be currently studying the foundation units
before enrolling in second year courses.
- The student's cumulative GPA
will be taken into account at the time of application.
A cumulative GPA of less than 2.0 is considered beneath the standard for admission to major.
- Eight courses make up the minimum requirement for each major unless otherwise
specified for a specific major.
