General Requirement

Students of Lebanese Nationality

Students normally take four or five courses per semester.

The total number of foundation credits required to qualify for a major are 24 credits (8 courses) for all Business Administration and Arts & Sciences majors. To complete the major students need a minimum of 36 credits (12 courses) . Students must normally complete up to 36 elective credits (12 courses) part of which are taken to satisfy the language and quantitative skills requirements.

The total number of credits needed for graduation therefore is a minimum of 96 credits, depending upon the sum of the major and the electives. Students are required to complete a minimum of 32 courses for graduation. Students whose majors require more than 12 courses may take correspondingly fewer electives. You may take additional courses, if you wish.

Students of Foreign Nationality


Students normally take four or five courses per semester.

New students entering the Freshman Class are required to take the Foundation Courses program consisting of 24 credits 8 courses before starting upper level courses.

The total number of credits required to complete the major is never less than 36 credits (12 courses). In addition to the major courses, you must normally complete a minimum of 60 elective credits (20 courses) part of which are taken to satisfy the language quantitative skills requirements.

The total number of credits needed for graduation therefore is a minimum of 120 credits, depending upon the sum of the major and the electives. Students are required to complete a minimum of 40 courses for graduation. Students whose majors require more than 12 courses may take correspondingly fewer electives. You may take additional courses, if you wish.
