Graduate Study
Selected BUonline undergraduates have the option of getting an advanced degree in conjunction with their
bachelor's degree in cooperation with
BUonline's MA and PhD programs.
A student holding a foreign nationality may obtain a Bachelor of Science in an Arts or Sciences concentration
and an MA in a total of five years. Students interested in the option apply during their junior (3rd) year. If
accepted, a student, during the fourth year at
BUonline, takes a different series of courses from regular
students.
Students who option into the MA program take a series of courses combining both undergraduate and graduate study,
so that the senior year of university study also functions as the first year of graduate school. Students who option
into the PhD program begin taking doctoral-level seminars in their last year of their undergraduate program.
